Getting started
From nothing to mining in about ten minutes
1. Get an XDAG wallet address
Your wallet address is your account on this pool. There is no sign-up and no password here: whatever address you mine with is where your payouts are sent.
- Create a wallet with the official XDAG wallet software and note down its address.
- Choose a strong wallet password and keep it somewhere safe, and back up your wallet file. If you lose either, nobody can recover your coins, including us.
- Never share your wallet password or wallet file with anyone. The pool only ever needs your public address.
2. Download XMRig
XMRig is a free, open source RandomX miner for Windows, Linux and macOS. Download it from its official project page and unpack it into its own folder. Antivirus programs often flag miners as unwanted software; that is normal for mining programs, so only download from the official source.
3. Start mining
Open a terminal (Command Prompt or PowerShell on Windows) in the XMRig folder and run this, replacing YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS with your own address:
To name each machine, put a name after your address, like YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.rig1. Within a minute or two of your first accepted share, your address shows up under My Worker stats on the dashboard.
4. Choose a port

Troubleshooting
- No shares accepted. Check the address has no spaces or missing characters, and that the algorithm is rx/0.
- Cannot connect. Make sure the server name and port are exactly as shown above, and that your firewall allows outgoing connections on that port.
- Lots of rejected shares. Try the automatic port, and check that your computer's clock is correct.
- Low hashrate. Run XMRig as administrator (Windows) or with huge pages enabled (Linux) and close other heavy programs.
- Still stuck? Read the FAQ or ask in our Discord support channel.
